Teacher Certification
Self-awareness is self-transcendence. We can only transcend that which we understand, and question. Clarity through yoga is self-inquiry and understanding of yourself– how you have been conditioned to think, act, move, and grow, as a manifested spiritual entity. Through UNION/YOGA Teacher Certification, you will learn about your edges and shadows, strengths and stops. This evolving inquiry becomes your greatest advantage in being an exceptional teacher of yoga. It begins at home. When you are present to see your self, in all facets of your unique expression, you are better equipped to see and guide others. UNION/YOGA Teacher Certification is approved by Yoga Alliance, and licensed by the State of Michigan. Yoga Alliance is the governing board that sets the standards of professionalism required for North American Yoga Teacher Certification. The minimum standard set by Yoga Alliance requires 200 hours of study. UNION/YOGA LLC offers teacher certification at the 200-hour Classic and 500-hour Master levels.
