Can someone like me who is (fill in the blank: sedentary, inflexible, large, physically disabled, senior, male, female, etc.) do yoga?
Probably! Yoga is for any body. Our teachers are trained to help you modify postures so that you can get the most benefit without injury. But if you have any concerns talk to your doctor or talk to us directly. Please consult your doctor if you are recovering from surgery, major illness, or are in your first trimester of pregnancy.
In some situations, a group class may not be able to accommodate your special needs. Private yoga sessions, with one of our qualified teachers, will help you develop the necessary stamina and confidence to participate in a regular class.
